What is yoga?
Yoga helps restore balance in our body and mind. When life gets challenging, or we have a fearful situation in front of us, we get out of balance and we experience stress. The experience of stress affects our breath, our immune system, and our general state of health
Its important that we know how to bring ourselves back to a place of balance and vitality. Over time with regular practice people find the poses in yoga help shift the energy in the body to feel more overall wellbeing and energy for daily life.
Science has shown that yoga and mindfulness grounds the mind to become calm and clear, where we get better perspective. Overtime we 'rewire our brain' for the better. Mindfulness neurologically changes the brain to better cope with stress and build our level of resilience.
What are the benefits of yoga?
Stretching and strengthening the body
Reduced stress
Improve sleep
Relaxation and calming of the mind and body
Experience more vitality and joy
