ERIN WHITLA

Erin is a trained primary/preschool teacher. She originally found yoga as a way to find some balance and calm in the day and as a means to quieten the inner critic.

When she travelled to London, UK she dived deeper into her practice. Yoga provided her with a daily retreat that really helped her pull through some challenging periods of time. After London, Erin spent a few years living in Australia. She decided to train as a teacher in yoga and pilates.

The mind/body systems of exercise and breath work continued to provide her with peace, joy and balance and she wanted to share this, in combination with her love for teaching, with others.

Erin is both a certified teacher in both Yoga and Pilates. She is expecially skilled with supporting beginner yogis - she teaches the Beginners Yoga Course, Pilates and Yoga Basics at the studio.

Nath Arnott

“I got into yoga nearly six years ago, I wasn't healthy or happy. Yoga brought me back into my body and mind. I love to practice and spend some time every day on my mat. I was lucky to do my yoga teacher training in Bali a few years ago where I spent six months there totally immersed into yoga. I love to chat yoga and all sorts, looking forward to meeting everyone.”

Nath has been at the studio for 2 years and has built a strong and trusted repore with our yogis. People love his simplistic yet thoughtful approach to his classes which leave you feeling uplifted and strong.

Nath has a popular Yoga Basics class on a Sunday morning, or for something super invigorating try out his Wednesday 7.15pm Yoga Flow class!

ALice Cammock

Alice is our newest teacher at the studio taking the Tuesday 9.30am class. She trained with Nico Luce Yoga in Yin and Vinyasa Yoga.

“From a young age, I saw my mum doing yoga and when the Christchurch earthquake happened I found it really helped me and I have been doing it every day since. I love this practice with a passion.

While I love yoga I also love music, I play the piano, sing and play the guitar. I am also a daily meditator.”
