Replenish, rest and reconnect
Retreating from the busy-ness of our lives allows us the opportunity for truth, wisdom and healing to naturally arise. Given the right conditions we allow the unfolding of our true nature be awakened. We connect to an inner wise knowing, a clarity, a sense of wholeheartedness and courage to live a more peaceful and purposeful life.
The yogic wisdom (or the Vedas) is the oldest body of knowledge known to humanity. Jo draws on this wisdom along with science based practices to help you understand the roots of your struggles and to activate the happiness and joy response inside of you.
Find inner peace & Vitality
The experience of stress affects our breathing, our immune system, and our general state of health.
The practices on this retreat will help you to remove obstacles, to clear your perception and find more mental freedom. The postures in yoga are a vehicle to access clarity of mind, and the breathing and relaxation practices regulate our nervous system, so we can access our true nature - inner peace and vitality.
Mental freedom
At this retreat you will also learn how your life challenges are exactly what you need for your own growth and evolution. It’s not about perfecting everything around us, but rather learning to remain at peace regardless of our circumstances.
Now this is truly an art! And not easy. But this is, in my view, is a reflection of someone who is successful in life….someone who is not a victim of their circumstances, but rather has found mental freedom, despite their circumstances.
“There is no set of conditions that leads to lasting happiness. Lasting happiness doesn’t come from conditions; it comes from learning to flow with conditions” - Cory Muscara via Zen monks
